On the one hand I am afraid of the last school day because I will not see my friends very often in the summer holidays. I probalby will never see some of my classmates and that thought makes me really sad. I constituted with my friends to meet us very often, but this is not so easy because for instance one day I havn’t time and the other day Anna or Lisa havn’t got the time to meet us.
On the other hand I’m looking forward to the last school day because this is going to be my last day in this school. Then a new period of life is going to begin and I’m strained how it will be.
SUMMERSPORTWEEK
On Monday, May 19th, the fourth form of our school went to Niederöblarn. We were abaout 130 pupils and teachers. The rooms were a little bit small but very beautiful. I was in a room with my friends Anna and Jenny. At the summersportweek seven girls and I went riding a horse. Their horses names are Meda, Rika, Romy, Fritzi, Winnitou, Bob and Pandour. The horses weren’t very bad and it was great fun. We have to drive 15 minutes with the bus to get to the riding stable, but on tuesday we had to drive with mountainbikes because of the Corpus Christi procession. It was a bit hard but also funny. The projectweek was great fun and nobody wanted to drive home on the last day.
The future
I think in the future will be one big city all over the world and there won’t be very many parks, where you can go strolling or boating. I hope that won’t be because so animals haven’t got a chance to live. I also think that children won’t go to school because they all will have a laptop or a computer, from which they will learn all the important things. I hope people will protect nature and won’t exploit it. If people don’t change anything, there will be a big problem: the destruction of the environment.
All Americans slurp
One day, the Lins were invited to an american dinner.They didn’t know how to eat the meal because they are from China. Suddenly they realized that nobody put out the strings of the stalk like they did it at the dinner. Some time later they went out to dinner in an expensive restaurant. The irl didn’t enjoy it because she felt ashamed. The Lins slurped the soup and didn’t know how to eat the rest of the meal. Three months later, the Lins gave a dinner party. Their American friends didn’t know how to eat chinese food and Jee, the girl, was very happy about that.
English in Action
On Monday, March 3rd, we all looked forward to our first lesson because we were taught by native speakers from England for one week.
At eight o’clock Mrs Hartmann came and divideed us into two groups. The first one, in which I was, stayed in our class, the other group went to class 3c. Then Lynn, a native speaker, came in and we played games and asked her questions. While we had Lynn, the other group was taught by Spike and in the second lesson the teachers swapped groups. The teachers changed every lesson and so it was very interesting.
The fifth lesson used to be the project lesson in which we had to design posters and write little presentations. Our group dealt with the Beatles. the sixth lesson was the sketch lesson in which we had to write a sketch. Our group wrote a sketch about a talkshow and I was the camerawoman.
All in all English in action was great fun and we also worked and learned a lot.
The Beatles
At the beginning some facts about the band: The four members are John Winston Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Theband was founded in 1962 and finally dissolved in 1970. Famous songs are Help!, Yellow Submarine, Yesterday, Let it be, Hey Jude, She`s a woman, Hello Goodbye and many other songs.
Now I`ll describe the four members of the band:
The first member is John Lennon. He was born in 1940 and killed in 1980 by Mark David Chapman. Mark David Chapman killed him because he thought that he was the „real“ John Lennon. In the band John Lennon was one of the singers in the band, he played the guitar and also the mouth-organ. In 1962 John married Cynthia Powell. Their son, called Julian, was born in 1963. In 1969 John married Yoko Ono, with whom he got another son, Sean.
The next member I want to describe is the richest British musician, Paul McCartney. He was born in 1942 in Liverpool and in the band he was a singer too, but he also played the guitar, the bass and the drums. His wives were Jane Asher, Linda Eastman and Heather Mills. His children are Mary, Stella, James and Beatrice Milly. He even adopted Linda Eastman’s daughter Heather.
George Harrison is the next musician in the band. He was born in 1943 and died in 2001 because of cancer. In the band he sang and played the guitar. In 1966 he married Patti and in 1978 Olivia Arias. With her he got one son, called Dhani.
The last one in the band is Ringo Starr. Everybody knows him as ‘Ringo Starr’, but just a few people know his real name, which is Richard Starkey. Richard was born in 1940 in Liverpool. He married Maureen Cox, with her he got the children Zacharias, or also called Zak, Jason and Lee. Once, Zak was a member of the band „The Who“ for a while. In 1981 Ringo Starr married Barbara Bach from the USA.
Now just Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are alive. Since 2006 Paul McCartney has been on TV more often because he left his wife Heather Mills.
My ski vacation
On Saturday, February 9th, my family and I packed our suitcases because on Sunday morning at 4 o’clock we drove away. At first we went to the “Werkstatt“ in Rankweil to have breakfast. Then we drove to the alpine dairy Schnifis to buy cheese and yogurt, where we met my fathers head. When we had bought these things we drove back to Germany and drove to the “Kleinwalsertal“ , which b
elongs to
Vorarlberg but you can only get over Germany there. At the way there we ate in a restaurant in Mittelberg. At 1 o’clock we came to our apartment and the owner of it helped us to get our suitcases from the car to the apartment.
The next day we went to the first floor because there we get a nice breakfast. Then we dressed our skiing clothes and drove to the “ Ifen“ to go skiing. At midday we
stopped for a snack at the side of the piste and ate our cheese, bread and apples. In the evening we went to a restaurant.
At Tuesday we drove with the “Walserbus“ to the “Kanzelwand“ to go skiing and in the evening we went to an other restaurant.
On Wednesday we went again to “Ifen“ and on Thursday and Friday we went to the “Kanzelwand“
by bus. The whole week we had great wheater because we only saw the sun and the blue sky and never clouds.
At Saturday we packed again our suitcases and drove back home.
Carnival
On Tuesday february 5th was carnival. But the first lesson was regularly and we had PE. In the second lesson we went to our classroom and our class dressed up as fairy tale wood and in the break between 
the second and the third lesson the whole lower level of our school went to the carnival move in Wieselburg. But before we could go we get ‘Krapfen’ and little elastic bears as a provisions in front of the school. The elementary school, the secondary modern school but also the ‘Kindergarten’ went to this move. It was great fun and I’m looking forward to the next carneval.
Holiday on ice
On January 26th at 16:40 my grandparents, Viki, Kathi and I drove toPurgstall. There we got on the bus and went to Vienna because we got a ticket for ‘Holiday on ice Mystery’. At the travel I set next to my grandmother and I read chapters 5 and 6 of the book ‘The lion, the witch and the wardrobe’.
When we stepped out of the bus we went into the Stadthalle and looked for our places. I was not allowed to make fotos therefore I looked for some in the internet. The perfomance was great and the others liked it too. We came home at half past twelve.
My best friends
My best friend’s names are Anna, Jani, Lisa, Jenny and Yasi.
Anna
Anna is a very honest, nice and pretty girl. Her nickname is “Glühwürmchen“. Anna has got blond hair, which goes up to the shoulders.She usually wears a jean and a sweater or a t-shirt. I like Anna very much and I never want to loose her.
Jani
Jani is also very pretty and honest but she is also very funny. Janine is also in my English-group and you can have a look at her homepage: http://www.janinedemonte.wordpress.com . Jani has got black long hair and she is 13 years old but in february she’ll becomes 14. Jani is one of my best friends and I never want to loose her.
Lisa
Lisa goes to my class but we aren’t in the same English-group. However she has got a blog: http://lisarucklinger.wordpress.com . Lisa is very nice and honest and she’s very good in maths. Lisa comes from Wang and in the morning we drive together with the bus. Lisa is one of my best friends and I never want to loose her.
Jenny
Jenny is tall and very honest. Her full name is Jennifer but my friends and I call her Jenny. She is in my class however she isn’t in my English-group so she hasn’t got a blog where you can have a look at it. Jenny comes from Petzenkirchen and she likes dogs very much. I never want to loose her because she is so nice .
